The West End has been proudly serving the residents of the Mahanoy City Area since 1925.
Our organization is comprised of 100% VOLUNTEERS!
During each year the West End responds to over 150 incidents.
Outside of our community, we respond to emergencies all over Schuylkll County.
Our company has been special called to incidents as far away as Berks and Columbia Counties.
All of our personnel are trained in state certified fire, rescue, and emergency medical courses.
Many of our responders have graduated from the PA State Fire Academy in Lewistown.
Along with performing fire and rescue duties we also operate a water rescue dive team.
We are part of the Schuylkill County Rescue Task Force.
Our mission is to protect lives and property in a safe and effective manner.
