| WATER RESCUE TRAILER |
|
| |
This unit was built entirely in station during the early months of 2008 by members of the Dive Team. It carries all of our scuba, swiftwater, and ice rescue equipment. There is a small crew area for changing suits. It can be pulled by Squad 468, Rescue 469, or several members POV's Before this, all the gear was split between 993, 469, and a scuba room in the station. With everything in one unit, it greatly reduces our response time. |

Our company, along with Yorkville Hose Company in Pottsville, was assigned this trailer as part of the Schuylkill County Rescue Task Force. It is equipped with airshores, jacks, shoring materials. and various support equipment needed for a trench rescue incident. The unit will be called upon to respond with Squad 468 and Rescue 993 to incidents not only in our county, but all of Pennsylvania. |
